As well as exciting combat displays, Deus Vult can provide an intimate Living History camp that brings the past alive. Our tented encampment provides an authentic atmosphere in which we create an entertaining and interactive learning environment. Deus Vult's hands-on approach means you can see how people cooked (though health and safety means you can't try the food), lift a longsword or help equip a knight. There is always room for an other squire! Knowledgeable members of the society can talk to visitors about a massive variety of aspects of life during the crusades. That means not just names and dates, but the social and cultural reality. |
